Bistro Vadouvan will be welcoming racegoers and locals to their riverside terrace on Sunday 7 April to kick off one of the most anticipated days in London’s sporting calendar in style.

Located just a five-minute walk from the Boat Race start point at Putney Bridge, the riverside restaurant is opening for brunch from 11am so that you can fuel yourself for a day of spectating ahead of the 2.13pm start of the women’s race.

Head Chef Durga Misra has created a brunch menu inspired by his ‘French meets spice’ cooking style, nurtured during years spent in Michelin-starred French restaurants and his love of all things spice.

Start your race day with new brunch dishes such as BBQ sea bream with black garlic, Middle Eastern shakshuka and sage, and the yoghurt-marinated tandoori poussin, alongside desserts like the spiced fig sticky toffee pudding.

To toast the occasion, and ready racegoers for the day ahead, the team at Bistro Vadouvan will be popping the corks and pouring unlimited prosecco for 90 minutes while you dine.

Situated on Putney Wharf, Bistro Vadouvan’s homely interior is filled with natural light, while the riverside terrace, adorned with greenery and plenty of outdoor seating, is a great spot to soak up the boat race atmosphere.

Bistro Vadouvan’s Boat Race bottomless brunch is available from 11am on Sunday 7 April priced £35pp including a main course, dessert and unlimited prosecco 90 minutes (mocktails and soft drinks also available).
